Amazing News: We Raised $1.2 MILLION for Research (!) at Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine, a Tribute to Bob Saget.

Thanks to everyone in the room, and to all those who supported the event from afar, the event raised an incredible $1.2 Million—all for the most promising scleroderma research so we can one day achieve Bob's dream of ending this disease.

We cannot say thank you enough to all the incredibly generous donors, to our host Jeff Ross, to our partners at the New York Comedy Festival, and to those who lent us their time and talents on stage—Nikki Glaser, Michael Che, Adam Duritz and David Immerglück of the Counting Crows, plus a surprise performance from Ronnie Chieng!

"Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine": A Tribute to Bob Saget 2022 raises more than 1.2 Million

On Sept. 21, 2022, Event Co-chairs John Mayer, Kelly Rizzo, Jeff Ross, joined SRF Board Member, Susan Feniger to present Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine at the Beverly Wilshire in L.A. as a moving tribute to Bob Saget, raising more than $1.3M for the Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF).

The signature fundraising event celebrated Saget’s work as a relentless champion for those affected by scleroderma, with some of the world’s most talented performers generously donating their time to help raise funds for the SRF’s scleroderma research and education programs.

On Dec. 10th, Scleroderma Research Foundation "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine" New York raised $920,000!!!

It was another amazing event that raised $920,000 money for research for the cure to scleroderma— At Caroline’s On Broadway-- Bob hosted but it wouldn’t have been possible without guest comedians Michael Che, Jim Gaffigan Gilbert Gottfried, and John Oliver - Hot Cuisine by SRF Board member/Top Chef Master Susan Feniger & Mary Sue Millikin. On April 25, 2019 The Scleroderma Research Foundation Raised more money for research! Bob Saget New Standup Special, ZERO TO SIXTY is out NOW!!!!

The Bob Saget stand-up special ZERO TO SIXTY is out NOW On multiple digital platforms including Amazon and iTunes, Comcast, AT&T, Charter, DirecTV, Dish, Google Play and many others.

The special reflects on Saget’s long career in show business and beyond, detailing when he first learned what sex was, the time he lost his mojo and the strange reason he’s scared of doves. The set was taped on May 2 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.

Filming has completed on "BENJAMIN," directed by Bob Saget

The dark comedy "BENJAMIN," directed by Bob, is written by Joshua Turek and Produced by Nicholas Tabarrok. It stars an incredible ensemble of: Rob Corddry, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Max Burkholder, Kevin Pollak, Dave Foley, Jonny Weston, Peri Gilpin, Cheri Oteri, Clara Mamet, David Hull, and Bob. It is now in post production. The film centers on Ed (Saget), who reluctantly calls together an oddball assortment of friends and family to intervene on the supposed drug habit of his 15-year-old son, Benjamin (Burkholder).

Biggest “Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine” ever at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in June, 2017, raises 1.4 million!!!

Bob hosted and was honored at this very special event on the 30th Anniversary of the SRF with appearances by: Bill Burr, Zach Galifianakis, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Kimmel, Ray Romano, and musical guests Counting Crows, with cuisine by Top Chefs Susan Feniger & Mary Sue Milliken. 1.4 million was raised that went directly to research through the SRF - SclerodermaResearch.org

Oct. 13th Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine Las Vegas Raises $560,000!!

Thanks to boardmember Saville Kellner, the Scleroderma Research Foundation raised $560,000 Thursday night 10/13 at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. I performed, Bill Bellamy hosted, Neon Trees headlined and Top Chef Masters Board Member Susan Feniger, Mary Sue Milliken, Rick Moonen, and Hubert Keller served an amazing 5 course meal. Scleroderma Research Foundation NYC Raises $750,000

Dec. 8 at Caroline's on Broadway once again, Bob hosted another "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine" - Thanks to the generosity of appearances by Andy Cohen, Michael Che and Louis C.K., the SRF raised $750,000 that will go directly to research to help try to find a cure for scleroderma. The evening was also a tribute to board member Jeffrey Mace who lost his life this year to his long battle with scleroderma.

Famed Border Grill chefs, board member SUSAN FENIGER and MARY SUE MILLIKEN, along with RICK MOONEN, brought their amazing culinary talents to another event to remember, at the HOUSE OF BLUES at MANDALAY BAY!
