Making an Impact: $1.2 Million Raised for Scleroderma Research at Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine 2024!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended or supported from afar, this year’s Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine raised an astounding $1.2 million to fund groundbreaking scleroderma research and educational outreach through the Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF). Together, we’re advancing the mission of finding a cure and honoring Bob Saget’s dream of ending this disease.

This year’s event took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, and featured unforgettable appearances by Whitney Cummings, Alex Edelman, Chris Hardwick, Jim Jefferies, John Mayer, and event host Jeff Ross. The room was electric with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments that underscored our shared commitment to the cause.

We were also thrilled to present the Bob Saget Legacy Award to John Mayer and Jeff Ross, two of Bob’s dearest friends and tireless supporters of scleroderma research. Their dedication to Bob’s vision has been unwavering, and their contributions have been pivotal in raising funds and awareness for this important cause.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our incredible event co-chairs: Susan Feniger, Regina Hall, Caroline Hirsch, and Kelly Rizzo. This event would not be possible without their leadership and the passion they bring to continuing Bob’s legacy year after year.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this evening unforgettable: the performers who lent their time and talent, our generous donors, and our sponsors. Your support fuels our efforts to accelerate research and education, bringing us closer to the day when scleroderma is no longer a part of anyone’s story.

The event may have ended, but the mission continues. Join us in honoring Bob’s memory and the work we’re doing by making a donation today. Together, we can make a difference.
